Treasure Hunting Our Item of The Month Welcome to our about me page. We hope you'll like what you find here. Whatever it is you love, there's a very real possibility it's here--our tastes are eclectic and we're blessed with a keen tracking ability. September marks our ten year anniversary as eBay members. We'd like to thank the customers and sellers who have made these ten years very rewarding. Our interaction with eBay has brought us into contact with diverse people and reminds us of the shrinking nature of the world. It's true that we are all neighbors, you know. Our very first selling experience happened the week of Christmas, 1997, when we found a loving home for a 1964 Beatles lunchbox. The money helped our newly blended family, but--somehow--it was the joy of knowing that a woman who reminisced about her own lunchbox (an identical one she had owned at 9 years of age) would be getting ours for Christmas that made us realize that we would be with eBay for a long time. Since those days, we've sold everything from vintage Hot Wheels cars to Russell Wright collectibles to antique Simon and Halbig/ Kammer Reinhardt dolls. We know the joy of replacing a memory of only the mind and heart with a tangible souvenir of sweet but bygone days. AND along the way, we've had some of our own memories enhanced by the treasures you good eBayers have helped us find. SO, for those two wonderful things, a heartfelt thank you is due, and we say it proudly, "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!" Our family has grown through the years, too, and our sons are avid eBayers themselves, mostly from the buying end but sometimes as sellers as well. Ranging in age from 9 to 21, our three sons keep us on our toes and help us to maintain youthful perspective so that our customer base mirrors our insight. We've had customers who were toddlers with mommy and daddy punching the keys and others who were octogenarians buying for grandchildren or great-grandchildren. EBay is a wonder of the modern world to be celebrated for its wide-reachedness and the effects it has had on this world market. Thanks to eBay, too, for ten great years.
