I am honored that you have taken time to find out a little about me. My name
is Rebecca and I have lived in Wild Wonderful West Virginia most of my life.
As a
young girl I spent many summer mornings running to yard sales with my parents. By the time I
was all grown it was like a natural thing to do. When I moved to NC I quickly found out that
many of the things handed down to me over the years actually had value.
After moving to NC I had to let go of some of my accumulation because I couldn't store it
any longer and my home was way too small for it all. With a truck load of pottery and other
items I headed off to the local flea market. Items were being snatched up as quick as I
could put them on the table. After a couple hours there really wasn't much left so I packed
up. After that I decided to walk around and visit the rest of the sellers. Here sitting on
tables everywhere was much of the stuff I had sold earlier that morning with huge mark-ups!
I wasn't the least bit upset but I did start paying attention after that.
I have
been told on more than one occasion that I give too much information on my items. I
personally don't think so. I want my customers to know what they are getting and I have seen
what can happen to a sellers reputation when they hope the customer will just accept it and
move on. You can trust that if I don't believe an item is worth having....I won't list it.
