My Mission Statement

As is the case with many of us selling on eBay, Life dealt me some rough Physical Health issues, making it impossible for me to return to my very physically active line of work. But what it has never been able to stop me from was -Garage Sailing [as I like to call it:) Over the last 15+ years I have decorated my home, clothed my rapidly growing children and now my grandchildren and have given my Family and Friends some of the most unique treasures that we all know, even if I had found in a store, I would have never been able to buy! Before the economy started becoming so bad-my goal was to link my eBay with a Charitable site I have been working on. Then I turned into the charity...Now I sell to get extra money for my 2 teen children's sports, band and leisure activities, clothes and other necessities that I cannot afford because my money is going into my gas tank! I am still working on creating my website-teaching myself-because who can afford a web designer-so it is taking awhile. But I am proud to say that I am getting there and it should be up and running soon and I hope you all will visit! As I get closer to a launch, I will add more info about it-but I will tell you this now-it will be unlike any other site you have ever shopped and the focus will be on selling only USED products some will be collectibles & treasures but most will be necessities like clothes and shoes and convienance items like housewares, books, sewing notions etc... to cut down on driving and paying way too much for items just because they are new! It will be a community of economically challenged, cost conscious and savvy shoppers helping each other! Networking, supporting and bartering will be some of the options. You will see week to week how much money I and others EARN using coupons and other tips for saving money during this economic mess we are in! It will not be a site for me to earn money [that will be eBay]-but a site for me to make a difference and help those who need it the most!  Wish me luck...and I hope to see you soon at recherishables or on eBay!
