Recovery
Threads™ was born out of our love for recovery and the
recovering community. WE are in recovery, some from drugs, some from
alcohol, others from other 12 step programs. We are a proud bunch and
as such, like to profess the precious gift we've received. We looked
to our local 12-step shops and found some apparel that was on-topic,
but just not very cool. Looking to the Internet, we found a few other
options out there, but none of them really appealed to us (the 25 to
45 age group). We decided that something new had to be done and we
found the best opportunity by producing Recovery Threads™.
We
offer clothing to the recovery community that is different, has
bite, and reflects the kind of thinking that isn't the
"norm". We fit so well into this philosophy because we have
never conformed to the "norm". We offer clothing with
attitude, like our Recovery Threads™ originals and our
Anonymi-TEE© Collection. All items from the Anonymi-TEE©
Collection offer messages to other recovering people without breaking
anonymity. We currently employ a staff of artists, representing many
different 12-step programs. It is this special mix that has produced
the first designs which are currently enjoying a wildly popular
reception amongst the recovering community throughout the nation.

If the t-shirt is made of anything less than 6.1 oz cotton, then it is thin and of low quality. If you want a durable, heavyweight, thick, long-lasting shirts, choose 6.1 oz.!

If the t-shirt design is printed using "direct printing" it means a computer prints the design directly on the shirt. This process offers "dull" colors and fades in the sun.

If the t-shirt design is printed using "heat transfer" it means the design is placed on the shirt much like iron-on transfers. This process produces designs that will yellow over time, will crack and flake-off, and fades quickly with washing.
