What Do I Sell?
Oh, a little bit of everything. Hopefully something interesting, sometimes offbeat and unusual. I will always have some records, books and postcards from time to time as these are some of my favorites. My personal likes are: Music, Books, Unusual Paper Stuff, Postcards, and Magic. My hobbies are Music (I play guitar), Songwriting, Magic, and collecting! A few of my favorite guitar players are Chet Atkins, Jerry Reed, Les Paul, Roy Clark, George Harrison, Harvey Mandel, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck (these were my earliest influences). And through the years this list has branched out to include any *"Plectrum Paganini" I can unearth that plays good. I've found lots of musical treasures by rummaging through records, cassetes, cds and the like.
* A quote from Miss Hathaway (Nancy Kulp) on the Beverly Hillbilles, refering to Roy Clark's character or perhaps it was Homer & Jethro's characters. Anyway I thought that was a pretty humourous phrase.
Some of my favorite magicians are Mark Wilson (Magic Land Of Alakazam), Lewis Ganson and all of the great magicians that used to be on TV back in the sixties (It seems magicians were everywhere on tv), Dai Vernon, Houdini, David Copperfield, and the list goes on and on and on!
WANTED!!!
Looking for "Yellow Hair" band material. I'm hoping to find some stuff from Omaha, Nebraska and the surrounding areas. We were a great Beatles cover band! We had great harmony and covered songs by groups such as The Hollies, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Three Dog Night, Creedence Clearwater, Led Zeppelin, and a lot of the current top 40 at that time not to mention a few country songs tossed in here and there! We were based out of Omaha around 1969 & 1970. We played a lot of clubs (such as the "Red Garter"), schools, colleges (among these was a concert with Badfinger at a college (Creighton University?) in Council Bluffs (I think), parks (Memorial Park, Peonny (not sure of spelling) Park, Adams Park, City Park, etc. We also did a video for Channel 7 in Omaha (I don't remember the name of the show but would like to get a copy of this video if possible). We were with the Eddy Hadad Agency who also booked the Rumbles. We recorded at Pacific Avenue Records and Sound Recorders. We also played at the Norad Air Force Base at the Officers Club in Omaha. I am looking for anything; Recordings someone may have made of us playing live, records (we had two "Somewhere" & "I Wanna Be Free"), pictures of the group, flyers, posters, radio surveys with any of the above two songs on them, business cards, just about anything you can come up with I would want. Please email me if you can locate or have anything. I'm hoping all of the things I mentioned will help lead to some memorabilia. Thanks.
