I have spent considerable time overseas. While in the orient I discovered that I was a dragon in the Chinese Zodiac. My interest in shaving items began when I lost the razor I had been using for 50 years. None of the newer razors did as well so I went on eBay to get another. These things aren't vintage or antique to me, they're just regular razors. Ego

There is a common misconception that badgers are trapped and killed to harvest the hair which is excellent for making shaving brushes. They are, however, herded and sheared like sheep. If you look at the tips of badger hair with a microscope you'll find they end in tiny little brushes, great for sopping up suds.

Wet shaving might be as well described as single edge shaving. Multiple edge razors use the first edge to pull the hair out and the rest to cut. This irritates the skin of a lot of people, including me. Somehow Schick and Gillette got off track some 30 yrs ago.
