My name is Steve, I live in Northern California, Area Code 510. I joined the US Army Reserve in 1979, and served on Active Duty from 1983-86 as a Field Artillery Officer. I was in the 3/8th US Cavalry, 8th Infantry Division, Mannheim, Germany. I was stationed at Coleman Barracks. While in Germany, I served on the Border Observation Posts in the 1-K Zone along the East German Frontier. I was there for three Reforgers, Division FTXs, and dozens of Alert Rollouts. I also served in the 91st Infantry Division's Heavy Weapons Company at Camp Parks, CA. Powder River!
What's a Redleg ?
A Redleg is military slang for an artilleryman. He/ she could be on the gun crews, in the Fire Direction Center, or a Forward Observer (FIST). We are all members of the Field Artillery Branch of the Army, based at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
A long time ago, back when commanders controlled hundreds of troops over a vast battlefield, soldiers wore colored stripes on their pants to denote their specialty. Artillerymen wore red stripes, and became known as ....Redlegs.

Whats Hell Money?
Hell Money is Chinese Funeral Money used in ceremony. It is basically used to please spirits in the After World. All Hell Money has the image of the Lord of the AfterWorld. There's different types: Political, Traditional, and HyperInflation. Also, any note that contains an '' 8 '' is more in demand because 8 is a lucky number in Chinese culture. Hell Money comes in lots of different designs and colors. I get my notes from tiny ceremony shops in San Francisco and Oakland.
