Who We Are
Thank you for visiting Retail Surplus.
RetailSurplus is an online auction site for a major US based merchandise liquidation company. We receive millions of items annually from major retailers that are processed through our asset recovery centers. These items are retail returns and surplus items. Some my have been opened. Most items are sold in pallet and truckloads to global secondary markets. Items that are new or like-new (may have been opened but are fully functional and cosmetically like new) are separated from other merchandise and offered for sale on this auction site. Open box items are fully tested and checked for all components. RetailSurplus also offers from time to time Factory Refurbished and BRAND NEW factory sealed items. These items are clearly identified in the product description on the site. RetailSurplus provides a broad array of merchandise you can bid on with confidence.
RetailSurplus also operates a sister site called Chance Deals. The products on ChanceDeals are goods that appear to be cosmetically in a like-new or slightly used condition but have NOT been tested or evaluated. While our historical experience is that most work just fine, some may not. Some items may need only a very minor adjustment, new parts or components, or be absolutely perfect. The ChanceDeals site poses a degree of RISK for buyers and is not for every bidder. Bidders who posses the ability to 'tinker' with goods that MAY be slightly out of adjustment or totally non-functional will love the prices on this site. Most winning bidders get really good deals on great products that look and work as new. There are however no warranties, returns, or adjustments on ChanceDeals.
What are we selling on ebay
Retail Surplus is currently selling everything from electric shavers to 20" flat screen televisions to power tools! As previously stated, we handle returns for many national and international retail chains. Stop by frequently because we add new merchandise almost everyday. You never know what you'll find but it's almost certain to be priced lower than anywhere else!
What is the Condition of the Product We Sell?
The condition of the products we offer to the eBay community range from refurbished products to items that have never been opened. All items come with the original manufacturer's warranty. You will find the condition of the product for which you are bidding to the right of the image and above the item description. We take pride in delivering a quality product to your doorstep every time, which is indicated by our 99%+ postive feeback and Platinum Powerseller status!

Product Condition
Are your items brand new and sealed in the box?
Some of the merchandise on RetailSurplus is new and sealed in the original manufacturer packaging. This merchandise is identified as Pristine on the eBay listing page. Some Items are retails shelf pulls meaning that they may have been opened but are fully functional and cosmetically like new. Open box items are fully tested and checked for all components. RetailSurplus also offers from time to time Factory Refurbished items. These items are clearly identified in the product description on the site. RetailSurplus provides a broad array of merchandise you can bid on with confidence.
Payment
How do I pay for an auction that I have won?
The winning bidder receives an email with automatic links to our checkout process. This email is always sent to the email address that is currently on file with your registration at eBay. If a day has passed since the auction that you won has closed, and you have not yet received our winning bid notice, it may have been sent to an old, outdated email account of yours. Payment may be made with Visa, MC, Discover, and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks or money orders.
I want to pay for this auction with a money order or check. What is the address to mail my payment?
We currently only accept Visa, MC, Discover and PayPal. We do not accept personal checks or money orders. The winning bidder receives an email with automatic links to our checkout page. This email is always sent to the email address that is currently on file with your registration at eBay. Please follow the links to our secure checkout system and pay using either a valid credit card or PayPal.
If I win multiple auctions, can I pay for them all at once?
We send separate winning bidder emails to you for each auction that you have won. Each email will contain a link to our checkout system. At the moment our system treats each auction as a separate transaction, so you will need to pay for each auction individually.
What do I do if accidentally type in the wrong information during the credit card checkout process, and my card is declined?
If you accidentally type the wrong card number or enter the wrong expiration date, the card may be declined. Go back and try to retype the information. You may need to contact us by email and we will help you resolve the problem. Please reference your auction # in the email.
Shipping
How much is shipping for your auction?
All freight and handling fees are posted on the eBay auction listing. You will find shipping charges listed to the right of the item picture.
Do you ship merchandise to Canada, Mexico, Alaska or Hawaii?
We only ship product to the 48 mainland United States. Some of our International customers have asked us to ship merchandise to friends or relatives within the US who have then forwarded the packages to them. If this works for you, you can indicate separate billing and shipping addresses during our checkout process.
Can you ship merchandise to other Countries or continents such as New Zealand, Germany, or South America, if the buyer is willing to pay actual shipping charges?
We only ship product to the 48 mainland United States. We will not make any exceptions and we will not entertain request for air-freight service to other countries. Some of our customers have asked us to ship merchandise to friends or relatives within the US who have then forwarded the packages to them. If this works for you, you can indicate separate billing and shipping addresses during our credit card checkout process.
I would like to get this merchandise quickly. Is next day or second day shipping available?
At this time, we only offer UPS ground service, which specifies 3-7 business day delivery time.
If I order more than 1 item, can shipping be combined and will there be a discount?
Because we process items from multiple customers, we do not offer multiple purchase discounts or combine shipments.
