Rock Music lovers and memorabilia collectors, I have recently come across a treasure trove of original Otto Cloth Backstage Passes. A dear friend of mine, affectionately known as Loonie Louie,spent almost 30 years on the road lugging equipment for some of the greatest Rock Groups in the world. Over those 30 years, he spent much of his time after concerts scrounging around venues, back stages, and dressing rooms basically picking up anything that wasn’t nailed down!! I actually think Mick named the album, Sticky Fingers, after Louie. Anyhow, Louie’s plan was to save up all his loot, categorize it, and then make his retirement selling it off. Sorta like a Rock and Roll IRA! Too bad, too many bad habits picked up on the road kept Louie from doing much more than throwing his treasure trove into box after box and putting them into anonymous storage spaces. Upon learning of his failing liver, Louie enlisted me into the collection process, driving to various storage facilities all over the US for the purpose of finally collecting and inventorying his largess. Unfortunately for Louie, after collecting the last dozen or so of a couple hundred box loads of collectibles, Louie succumbed to cirrhosis!!! RIP Loonie Louie 1949-2008.
I have finally sorted thru the first ten boxes. I think you, the cream of the rock memorabilia collectors, will be awestruck by the quality and diversity of Loonie Louie’s GOT ROCK ART? Collection. I look forward to a long and successful relationship with you.
