I love & collect anything with "Lucky Ladybugs" on it. It all started for me in Japan, growing up with all boys in my neighborhood with me as only girl. I had lots of big brothers, but few little brothers of the neighborhood considered "Red, 7-dotted Ladybugs are Rie-chan's bug". The hillside & fields above my home was full of wildflowers & in spring and summer...full of my ladybugs & butterflies and more. I often collected the Ladybugs & flowers for my bug-cage.
Also, my little brothers used to bring me the Ladybugs to my home in all hours.
Those were the days that money & health did not matter. My days living with my Grandparents were carefree & innocent. If I had a time machine, I would go back there.
Now, I am older than my Grandmother was when she died at age 54. Still collecting just about anything with ladybugs on. Now I have some helpers, (Friends & relatives)so I have them from all over the world.
My vision is acting my age, I guess. Before they gets worse, I am creating things with Ladybugs, Racoons, Rabbits, and Lions. Latch hooking and Crewel needle works are some of my favorite hobbies now, especially listening to Jazz, instrumental, and older Japanese musics.
