Welcome to Berrymanor We live in Sun City, California, and enjoy RV travel (in the U.S. and Canada). Air travel doesn't interest us, except in emergencies. We're in our low-70's and retired; Rhys was a disc jockey and then a bus driver, and Irene was a waitress and then a hospital computer operator. We have three basset hounds, and love trains, especially steam trains. On eBay, Rhys deals in "experienced" leather jackets, and various souvenir items (sometimes Yellowstone Park, where we met), railroadiana, and, of course, anything basset-related. Rhys is also a fan of old Mercurys and Fords, and currently has only 1 classic car: a 1991 Ford Country Squire station wagon with very low mileage and a new engine. We are atheist AND politically conservative, which we realize is an unusual combination. We believe overpopulation is humanity's greatest threat, and that environmental problems will not be solved by simply putting more people out of work, as most environmentalists apparently believe. We support the government's war on terrorism, but are opposed to the government's meddling in our private lives. We do NOT support Obama's Socialism! |
