Started with a small collection that was handed down to me when I was 10 years old. Ever since then, I have been collecting US and World coins. My collecting started in 1970 and still very strong today, but I am both a collector and dealer. I started collectng US coins, especially silver dollars, but since so many dollars were available, I got tired and concentrated on World coins. My goal was to get a least one of the best or popular coin from each country. As my collection grew, my knowledge of world coins expanded. Knowing many countries, thier coins and how they were struck and what is common and what is not. Collecting the best quality coins is always part of my goal, acquiring the best grade. Sometimes, this was not easy, so the best of what is available is always the next best thing. I have many years in looking at thousand of coins and familiar with raw and certified coins. I collect and sell based on the coin and not the plastic casing, but each has their own way in judging the qualty. If you like to collect as I do and do this as a living and business and enjoy it, this is the best of life.
