I have several hundred of them now. I started collecting these about ten years ago. My best weight is an antique New England Scrambled weight. It is just beautiful. I started culling my collection a bit the past couple of years. I am trying to get my collection down to just my very best weights. I currently have a little over 500 weights. I have a lot of Scottish weights which include Perthshire, Caithness, John Deacons, Peter McDougal, Strathearn, Whitefriars, Tweedsmuir, & William Manson. I'm still looking for a Selkirk. I have three New England Glass scramble weights. I have one Baccarat rock weight & several other Baccarat sulphides. I have one Saint Louis. I have quite a few older American weights. I also have many Gentile, St.Clair, Zimmerman, Gibson, etc. Finally, I started collecting some of the art glass studio weights lately. I have come Correria, OBG, Glass Eye, Orient & Flume, & others. I'm still looking to buy my first Clichy weight. I also collect Boyds Bear plush animals, Zippo lighters, and miniature pewter & pottery figurines. Thanks for reading this bit about me. Growing up in a family that sold and collected antique pottery & glass, it eventually proved to be my calling. I started off in flea markets years ago, and eventually moved to Ebay about 8 years ago. I have to say this here and now. I love my parents and grandparents very much. In many ways, who I am today is because of them. My parents collect cookie jars. They have thousands of them. However, recently Dad started to sell them off on Ebay. Dad & Mom (Jim & Sharon Reed) list around twenty or so cookie jars a week. Their handle is: 12timesgranny My Grandparents (Claude & Ruth Reed) have been long time collectors of Shawnee Pottery. My Grandfather's health has deteriorated somewhat recently, so they have asked Mom & Dad to help them start selling their Shawnee collection on Ebay also. Dad & Mom list about ten to twenty pieces of Shawnee a week along with their cookie jars. It would be well worth checking out their auctions. They have some wonderful stuff. Grandpa & Grandma had an enormous collection of Shawnee, so they have nearly everything Shawnee ever made. Some of their pottery is actually pictured in the Shawnee Pottery book by Jim and Bev Mangus. Thanks again for reading all this about me & my family. Enjoy shopping on Ebay!

My Items I Sell

I usually list a lot of pottery items. This tends to be my area of best knowledge. I'm pretty familar with the companies McCoy Pottery, Shawnee Pottery, Hull Pottery, Metlox, Twin Winton, Bauer, American Bisque, Camark, Brush, Royal Haeger, the many different California potteries, Niloak, Western Stoneware, Abingdon, and many other potteries. I list a lot of Pfaltzgraff items. I also list a lot of cookie jars. My father has a huge cookie jar collection, so it's easy for me to get information on cookie jars. Other items that I list frequently are old toys, dolls, Boyds Bears, paperweights, vintage houseware and kitchen items, vintage sewing related items, books, and just about anything else I find that I feel I can re-sell. I find the majority of the items I sell at flea markets, garage sales, estate sales, thrift stores, and occasionally auctions. Everything I offer is cleaned to the best of my ability, unless I state otherwise in the listing. All damages that may be present on any items I list are always described in my auctions. I'm kind of picky, and have been known to overstate damages. However, I do feel it necessary to list anything possibly wrong with an item before selling it.
