AT Work

| Hi, we are Wayne & Wanda, two rockhound nuts. Wayne is the resident expert, having earned a mining degree from the Colorado School of Mines. He spent 30 years (give or take) working in, on and around various mines throughout the western US. And during this time, collecting some great specimens. Wanda (me - the typist) is less knowledgeable about the finer points of classifying rocks but brings enthusiasm and does understand "cool looking rock". We are on Ebay because Wayne gave Wanda a rock tumbler for Christmas and "rocked my world". Now we have saws, cabachon equipment and tons of rocks in the backyard. In case you can't tell, we have fun, collecting the rock, cutting the rock, working the rock and occasionally throwing a fractured cabachon as far as the arm will allow. |
