My name is Dianne, and you could say that I was widowed by the rock-hound bug that bit my husband. That is until I joined in his hobby, started selling off his surplus stock and now I even go to quarries and rockhound with him. NOW I need your help, I have a neurological muscular disorder and I am close to 50 in young years. The problem is since I have gotten sick I can not work outside the home like I used to do. Any job that is willing to hire me wants me to work evenings and weekends (you know the story of new hires). Well the problem is I have my grandson every weekend and 3-4 evenings a week (My son is overseas in the military). I also have 3 teenagers left at home that ALL have some issues with mentality (I am step mom). The fall of 2006 things were so bad I took an evening job for a couple months, the stress of the job killed me and had me in pain daily, PLUS my wonderful children at home alone in the evening ran wild. I can NOT have that. SO I AM ASKING that you please bid fairly for the items I offer UP for auction. PLEASE. ANYHOW,
I am enjoying this hobby so much that I recently have received my Vendor's license and I hope to be able to acquire nicer and larger specimens for all of us RockHounds to share. Every once and awhile I will be putting unrelated items up also, Hay money is money.

I try my best to accuratly describe each specimen that I list. Unlike some sellers, I will sometimes even take pictures of the damage so you can see what you are getting. I am new at this business, so there are still some things that I am learning (like taking good-clear pictures). If ever you feel that I have misrepresented an item that you have won, PLEASE CONTACT ME FIRST, BEFORE LEAVING FEEDBACK and give me the chance to make things right with you.
I also try my best to package each specimen so it will be protected, if an item arrives damaged and you feel it is because of poor packing then PLEASE CONTACT ME AND WE CAN WORK SOMETHING OUT. I will do right by my customers, but I can not be responsible for all things that can happen in shipping. I strongly suggest Insurance on fragile items, we all know how gentle the Postal Service is.
After an auction has ended, if you contact me, I will hold your item for up to 2 weeks if you would like to bid on other auctions of mine. That way you can combine items to reduce shipping cost.
I prefer PAY PAL, but I will accept Personal Checks, Money Orders and Cashiers Checks. Please reply to my emails and keep the communications open, that way there are no mis-understandings.
