We call our homeschool the DaVinci School of Art and Science because we admire Leonardo DaVinci's approach and methods of teaching himself so very much.
Your eBay purchases fund his learning materials, subscriptions, high speed internet service, activities with other homeschooler kids, and field trips.
I enjoy reading, very technical science, medicine, drawing, writing, painting, photography, making jewlery, gardening, and love to go to movies and art museums.
I especially love photography. Check some of my work out at this link.
I like to paint but I prefer to paint baskets, cast iron skillets, and other things to decorate with.
My family and I appreciates your business very much.
Our wide range of interests means that you never know what you'll find in my store!
My family tries to buy as little as possible retail. We recycle and we Freecycle.
We believe that there more than enough things in the world already, just not enough people giving time and love to other people.
We encourage everyone to Freecycle!
I try to support the arts! I host The Rome Art Coterie - a local group showcasing some of my friends' work.
I'm a member of the Rome Area Council for the Arts. I studied art under Brian Barr, MFA, of Floyd College. My husband, Chip Gilleland, has also taught me a lot.
We both teach our son, and he teaches us plenty too!
Chip, my husband, also paints, and draws WONDERFUL pen and inks! He watches the news and football religiously. By trade he designs flooring systems. He is a fantastic artists - and his work ALWAYS sells - but he has limited time to paint.
He's a pretty happy, handsome Taurus.
Sage, our son, loves Art, Math, Computers, Egyptology and Biology. Sage loves Pokemon and minatures of all kinds. With him, the smaller the better! He likes loose gemstones and small rock specimens. He prefers to do schoolwork late at night and says that he can think 3 times better at night. I understand that!
We are all big Harry Potter fans.
That's us in a nutshell!
I ship on average 4 times a week. I have at least 1 day every week or so that I take my son out or on a field trip. I am usually a VERY careful lister and a good shipper - EVERY now and then when I get really busy I might mess something up, but please know its never intentional if it happens - PLEASE just let me know if you have any problems and I'll get you fixed up.
I do international shipments 2-3 times per week, as I need to go to town to do those.
