WHAT I SELL ON EBAY: I am not a professional dealer. I sell all kinds of items from my personal closets, the closets of friends and the estates of relatives. The merchandise ranges from movie related items to toys - from clothing/accessories to jewelry - from books to artwork - etc.. I try to place between 30 to 50 auctions every ten days. I still have many more years of items to sell off at that rate.I have been on ebay for 10+ years and have had met some wonderful people as a result. WHY ALL MY LISTINGS ARE FINAL SALES: Because as a seller that is not a pro seller with a succession of store items and a bank roll to back it, I do not have the ebb and flow of sitting cash to handle the "buyer's regret" buyers who flood ebay. I try hard to list everything that I can see and research on an item to help you be an educated consumer. If you have any questions, please ask before you bid. If you see something upon receipt of an item that I grossly missed, please let me know and we can work it out. GUIDE FOR MAKING ON OFFER ON MY FIXED PRICE AUCTIONS: The Buy It Now price on all my listings are already either below what was originally paid for the item or at the original price in the case of rare/discontinued items. Make a Best Offer does not mean that I am seeking half or less then half of the amount. So, those of you who always just take any ebay listing with Best offer and half it - please don't go there. A best offer that is most likely to be accepted is closer to 10 percent or less than 10% below the amount. Sometimes I will go slightly lower depending upon the buyer (repeat buyers always have an advantage), the number of watchers, and the rarity of the item. GUIDE FOR LAY-A-WAY PLAN ON MY HIGHER PRICED AUCTIONS: Please note that we can change the terms of this general basic lay-a-way if seller and buyer agree prior to bid. 1. What can be placed on Lay-A-Way? * Most items that are high end items ($1000+). Please note that items under $1000 can be put on lay-a-way but, the terms will need to be negotiated differently from the basic lay-a-way described below. The percentage of down payment and the time for payoff may be different depending upon the history of the buyer, how long the item has been posted, how many watchers it has, and if the item is a season specific sale. 2. What is Lay-a-way? • Layaway is a purchasing plan designed for customers who want to buy merchandise without using credit or paying the full price immediately. When you use a layaway plan, you pay in full through installments before getting the merchandise. 3. How long is your Layaway Plan? • Layaway Plan is for a maximum of 90 DAYS. There is no penalty for completing your layaway plan early. 4. How many payments do I have to make? • An initial non-refundable 30% down payment is required immediately upon invoice (unless other agreed to by seller . If no initial layaway payment is made on your layaway plan within that time frame, your order may be canceled unless you contact us to arrange, upon seller agreement, to other payment date arrangements. • Your next payments can be made in as many installments as you want within the next 90 days. But, at least one payment, following the original 30% down payment, must be made every thirty days using the deposit date as the due date. • The remaining balance payments must be equal to or greater than the original 30% down payment. 5. What if I miss my last payment on the LAST due date? • If no payment has been made on Lay-A-Way merchandise within the 30 day payment requirements, a friendly reminder email will be sent to the purchaser. If there is no reply or if no other agreement is made with seller's approval to catch up on payment, all prior payments will be forfeit and seller reserves the right to resell it. • If the balance has NOT been paid off in full on the last due date, a Deadline Lay-a-way notice will be emailed to the purchaser. This notice will give the purchaser a deadline for LAST payment. • If no further (remaining balance) payment received within 5 days from the Deadline notice, your Lay-Away purchase will become VOID, followed with these: • Penalty: All payments received will be FORFEITED. 6. Can I cancel my Layaway Plan ? Yes, you can. However, all payments already made will be forfeited. Notice will need to be given about canceling Lay-a-way, The forfeiting of all money received is considered as a breach of contract and is a penalty for keeping the item on hold which prevents the seller from the opportunity to sell item to other potential customers, and for selling fees, time, costs, and re-listing fees. How do I pay? You can pay via PayPal (other choices contact seller) in response to the monthly invoices sent bu seller via PayPal. You must use the same credit card (or payment method if using echeck) for all payments in accordance with PayPal safety guidelines to seller. Item can be picked up at seller location with cash payment only (no P&S charges will occur if picked up). |

Auction Guidelines For My Sales
PAYMENTS & SHIPMENTS I only ship to the address that PayPal emails me are covered by PayPal Seller Protection. International purchases can only be shipped via USPO Express International Mail. International shipments will be only to countries where seller can insure the item for the full sale value and only to the address for the buyer as emailed to seller via PayPal as Seller Protected. In cases of very high value items, only shipment to countries where a buyer can be confirmed is OK. Packaging is my choice. Please do not ask for that "super duper box that flies". I can only ship on Fridays and Saturdays. So, if you need your purchase faster, please let me know prior to bid and I will do everything possible to accomodate. For international bidders, please do not ask me to declare to customs this merchandise as something that it is not. Please also do not ask me to undervalue the sale. I won't break the law. I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR MOST PEOPLE ON EBAY BUT: The majority of buyers that I have met on ebay are tremendous, creative, and happy personalities! But, for all of you who fuss, constantly change your mind, want to show how you are one above the rest, think the world owes you a Rolex for $.99, outright lie, and the occassional nut, I have one last note: FINAL SALE - NO RETURNS - what does that mean? All my items are final sale! As a non-pro seller, I am not in a position act like a retail store - which cash floats over fixed time frames to allow for returns. I photograph all my items from a variety of angles. Many that I do not use for the listings. So, those buyers (esp. for clothing) that think they can purchase just to try on, have buyer's remorse, and try to claim a refund based upon acqusations of "damage" or "dirt" that is not there - think again. I attempt to describe all my items to the best of my ability. That includes a listing of all flaws that I see. ITEM DESCRIPTIONS - I do my very best to accurately describe the items. I cannot be totally perfect for all buyers all of the time. Buyers have some of the responsibility to examine the photos and ask for more (or blow ups) via email if they want, ask questions about any of their special needs/tastes that they are not sure are answered in the description, and be willing to not expect a "new car" for a "vintage" item (even through a very good vintage item). If a button is loose or a sleeve lining needs a couple of stiches, I try to catch it all in the description but, if I miss something, it will be minor, and I will consider it the buyer's reponsibility to get it fixed for the buyer's taste. And, of course, please remember that "Vintage" is just that "Vintage". Clothing items are especially difficult to describe - as in this category - more than any other - beauty and condition are "in the eye of the beholder". If I think an item is beautiful, excellent or stunning, that is my judgement, please judge independently according to your tastes. If you agree, I think that I have a "Great Deal" for you. To avoid an issues of sizing - I measure for you - please read those measurements - know your own measurements- and bid accordingly. I cannot answer if it fits you since I do not know you, can't see you, and won't get into a game of "but you told me that you thought it would fit". I think that I have some super items for excellent/fair prices. Please ask if you have an item that you might have been looking for - you never know - I just might have it but, have not gotten to it in that big old store room. Thank you for your interest in the items that brought you to this page! |
