I love many forms of Art & Creativity, Drawing, Painting, Floral Arranging, Woodworking, Gardening, Doll Making & Hand Quilting. I am an accomplished Hand Quilter and spent most of my Creative time Quilting while raising our 2 daughters. I also costumed porcelain dolls for a few years, for the well known Internationally collected Oregon Doll Artist Susan Dunham. Her Fairies were one of my favorites to dress. I did many, many Victorian Style Gowns with Bustles for her Peaches & Cream Doll.
A couple years ago I began drawing again, using colored pencils. Over a year ago I switched to Acrylic Paints, which I love. Horses are still my favorite subject, especially Paints, Pintos, & the Appaloosa, their coat patterns are so fun. I create Aceos , & Small Format works of Art. New...Blank Art Greeting Cards & Limited Edition Aceo Prints...Created from my Original Artwork.
I would like to share with you a couple of Blessings taking place in my life in August. First, it marks 2 years of surviving Breast Cancer. I did it all, chemo, surgery, radiation, and some more radiation this Winter, and am doing a little biotherapy now, with Ron right beside me all the way. Art has been a wonderful therapy. I am feeling so great now, and Thank the Good Lord for life.
The second is, Our first grandbaby, little Jada, due to arrive at the end of August. Such a Blessing. Can't wait to dress her in pink and make her first doll.
I appreciate your interest, and hope you enjoy my Artwork, as I have truely enjoyed the creating. A special Thank You to all the Wonderful Collectors who have included my artwork among your Treasures. I am so honored. Thanks for looking and may God richly Bless You, April
