My
promises to my customers:
I will describe the things for sale in my auctions and in my store
to the best of my ability.
My home
is smoke free, if I have acquired an item that smells of smoke I will mention
it in the auction.
I do have a cat, and he hangs out with me while I work,
so there might be a cat hair or two that make there way into a package.
About
my Packaging and Shipping:
I
use the United States Postal Service for my shipping.
Books, CDs, and other
media will ship Media Mail.
Please let me know if you need your media fast,
I can give you a Priority Mail quote.
My
media mail is packed in 4mm plastic so that the Post Office can see that there
is really media inside. The USPS opens some media mail packages to ensure proper
use, this delays shipment. Since they can SEE inside my packages, I have never
had a single inspection. I cover the title for your privacy.
I
self assure-delivery or purchase commercial insurance for all of the items that
I sell.
If the item arrives broken, and you can show me reasonable proof of
this, you will be refunded in full.
I
ship with confirmation of delivery ALWAYS (to U.S. Destinations). The post office
scans when they deliver the package to your address. This scan acts as my proof
that I have fulfilled my obligation of delivery of your item.
If you want
the Delivery Confirmation number, please email me a request for it, I'll get back
to you quickly.
Shipping
to Alaska, Hawaii, and the US territories often takes longer than the above table
reflects.
Delays in shipping do occur, for a variety of reasons your package
might take longer to reach you than the above time table states. Rest assured
that I got the package to the Post Office within two business days of your purchase.
International
shipping:
I can't
put confirmation of delivery on international shipments unless you pay the fee
for Express Mail. My receipt from the post office must act as my proof of delivery.
I don't guarantee shipping to anywhere outside of the USA. I will do my best to
ensure that the package is packed up and addressed properly.
I will put the
"end-of-auction" total on the customs form. I will not include the shipping
and handling in this total. This is correct and will help to reduce any duty fees
you may need to pay. I will not calculate or collect any duty or custom fees for
you, this is entirely your responsibility.
Combining
Purchases:
Please
make all of your selections before doing the checkout. After you pay I can no
longer combine and cannot give the shipping discount.
If
you make a store purchase and have an auction bid still running, please send me
an email and I will wait to send you a combined invoice. Typically, I can combine
orders up to seven days.
Return
Policy:
Vintage and used items are sold as is. Please
read the description of the item and look at the pictures. If you have any questions
please ask them before you bid.
If
you decide you don't like the item, I will accept a return and will refund you
the purchase price only, less a $1.00 handling fee. (No refund for S&H).
The
refund will be made after I receive the item back. You must contact me via email
within three days of receiving the item (the Delivery Confirmation date). The
items must be in exactly the same condition that it was in when I shipped it to
you. Opened new items will not be refunded in full. You must pack the item securely
and get the item in the mail within seven business days of your having received
it.
Of course,
if the item is damaged during shipping I will refund in full after I receive adequate
proof from you of the damage.
