Rosietheriviter? Who is this bidder?!
Hi I am Rosie! I am primarily a WWII RAF Sweetheart collector. My collection is large and mostly I am looking for high-end, unusual pieces. I am partial to 9 ct gold, palladium, stone set with rhinestones, marcastie or diamonds. My collection includes sweethearts from all the commonwealth nations and allies attached to the RAF: Canada, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Rhodesia, India, Palestine, Jamaica, Free French, Poland, 8th and 9th AAF.

I also fancy the odd bits and bobs of RAF memorabilia. RAF cigarette cases, lighters, glasses, photo carriers, pill boxes, compacts and such. They did like to put the pathfinder on most everything imaginable.
If you have an interesting listing for a WWII sweetheart, please feel free to drop me a mail. I must tell you that I am very particular about my pins. They must have no chipped or cracked enamel (unless they are WWI or earlier). I will consider a brooch with a broken pin on the back.

What else does she collect?????
I must admit that I have a weakness for beautiful enamled brooches and pins. My collection also has Homefront, women's divisions, Bundles for Britain, WVS, and WWI sweethearts (all countries) and some US sweethearts. I have a great fondness for the very feminine sweethearts of WWI and WWII, the earrings and women's rings. I am interested in a earrings and rings from all countries and from all conflicts. Currently I am looking for a WWII "Iron for Gold" ring from Germany. These pieces are getting harder and harder to find. If you have a remarkable listing, please let me know.

The Importance of Feedback! I am very good about leaving feedback for good sellers that are fast and have excellent merchandise. I think feedback is a very important part of ebay and take it VERY seriously. As you can see from my feedback, I am likely to buy from the outstanding sellers again and again.
International Sellers/Buyers!! I am most happy deal with anyone in any country! I think we are one big community, not a collection of seperate eBays! International fund checks? Cash? Visa/MC? PayPal?? I think most any selling complication can be solved with good communication. I had a transaction recently with a man in France. He spoke a little English and I speak a little French. He e-mailed in English and I answered in French. We had no problems and the transaction was as smooth as silk.
So far, I have done business with ebayers in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales, France, Holland, Australia, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and My Newest country--- HONG KONG!!! I hope to add more to my list!!

So who was Rosie the riveter really? She was the embodiment of women in the workforce in WWII. When all the boys went off to war there was a huge labor shortage. Many women who had never been in the workforce before drafted themselves in service to their country. They formed baby sitting clubs to watch their children while they worked the swing shift in factories. Rosie was all women of all races and creeds. Women of all ages, married and single, some with work experience but most without, came in the thousands to work for their country. Disabled women worked at the Maryland League for Crippled Children painting airplane engine parts for the Baltimore engineering company. Without the many Rosies we could not have won the war. She built the airplanes, tanks and ships. She drove taxis and streetcars. Then she taught the young men how to fly the airplanes that she had built. I have heard from so many veterans that they feel the most important war effort came from the homefront. These are a few real Rosies in action. Women working at Boeing, Women shipyard workers, Rosie at the Ford Willow Run plant, March, 1943, Women welders at the Landers, Frary, and Clark plant 1943 and an older Rosie at the converted war plant at Kentucky watch case factory 1942 And the symbolic Rosies the first one by Norman Rockwell the second is by J. Howard Miller
