ART AND OTHER THINGS One of my Paintings - Kava Tree, Aruba by Karen Zumbrun Hi, Jackie and Karen are a daughter-mother team who actually like working together. "Art and Other Things" was started by Karen with the intention of selling her own and other peoples art and art supplies. After a head -on collision and her subsequent brain injury, her daughter, Jackie, has joined the business. Jackie is an RN, who has spent her entire career working with pregancy, childbirth and newborns. She is also a Doula, a Lactation Counselor, Massage Therapist, Cranial Sacral Therapist, and teaches Childbirth Education. Our store has sort of evolved into something bigger than we originally planned, but we love doing this. We are dedicated to providing customer service - Karen was a top producer in sales for 20 years in a highly competitive field. The only thing that set her apart from the many other sales people was customer service. Just before she retired, 85% of her business came from past clients. Good customer service comes from having a great attitude about life and knowing that all people do what they do because they think it will make them feel better.
