Rubyfruit Radio is non commercial and all costs associated with it comes from my pocket and donations from kind listeners. These auctions are just a way to finance things like bandwidth and also attending some events like the Podcast Expo and the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association convention where I will be on a panel of queer podcasters.
