Cameron Electronics is a small family owned business.  We carry a large assortment of original new and used Dell parts.  If you ever have any questions or problems, you can reach us at rustyw@cameronelectronics.com or by telephone at 254-697-6568.  I have included some FAQ's here regarding some basic questions that we are asked most often.  Please read completely through the ads and the FAQ's listed here before calling or emailing us.

Tracking

• If you order a small item (within the U.S), it will most likely be shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
• Tracking numbers are now automatically updated within eBay.
• If you do not receive a tracking number, please check your "Items Won" folder to see if it has been added there.  If we do have to email you and you still do not receive it, look in your SPAM folder.  Many internet service providers treat USPS and UPS tracking numbers as SPAM. You should also check your 'My eBay' page where the item you purchased is listed. These will be automatically updated with USPS confirmation numbers once the labels are printed out of our PayPal account.
• If it is a small item that shipped USPS, you should also be able to track the confirmation number through your PayPal account.
• If you do not receive a UPS tracking number, you will have to contact us by email with your item number, full name and address and your eBay user ID for us to manually send you a tracking number. Again, check back to your My eBay page to see if the tracking number has been updated in your 'Items Won' folder.
• If you have an international shipment, we do not have automatic tracking emails since international orders must be hand delivered to the post office.  We do our best to send these manually, but are usually a few days behind. We no longer ship using USPS First Class Mail International.
• Please see our SHIPPING AND TRACKING page for important changes to our International Shipping policies.
• All higher priced and heavier items are shipped via USPS Express Mail International.  This service is fairly expensive, but does provide full tracking and insurace to insure your package is delivered.
• A USPS Delivery Confirmation Number is not a tracking number but will provide delivery confirmation information.  If you run this number on the USPS site, it will not give you an update until the item has been delivered.  You cannot use it as a tracking number to determine its current location. This is a seller's tool that confirms that the item has been delivered.

 Battery Info

• We sell quite a few batteries.  Used batteries are fully charged and then tested for 30 minutes.
• After running for 30 minutes, if the battery has at least an 80% charge still left, we will sell the battery as an A Grade battery.
• Batteries that have less than an 80% charge are usually sold off in bulk.
• New batteries (never used) are sold as such and clearly stated in the item title. All batteries either new or used are sent out empty and must be fully charged overnight prior to use.

 Inverters

• We sell many LCD inverters for various Dell Laptops.
• We sort these by the Dell Part Number of the actual LCD itself. To find the LCD number, look on the back of the LCD panel.
• If you need an inverter, please match these up according to this number.
• A Samsung inverter for a 15" Inspiron 8000 will not work on a Hitachi screen.
• If you have a pinkish tint to your screen and then it goes very dim, you probably have a bad backlight. An inverter will usually not fix a pink screen at startup.

SHIPPING

• We strive to get orders our as quickly as possible. Purchases made Monday through Friday are typically shipped the following business day. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm CST. Purchases made after 4 pm Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday will be shipped the following Monday.
• If you experience any problems, we strive for 100% customer satisfaction.  PLEASE contact us first so we may try to resolve the matter BEFORE leaving negative feedback.
