I started this business when my mom, Ruthie, who was a great collector of anything pretty, passed away in the winter of 2005.  When she was alive, we spent the better part of our time on the weekends hitting garage sales, estate sales & auctions.  When she left this world, she also left me with a great many collectible items.  For instance, she loved antique chicken dishes and had a vast collection (over 75).  Well, I kept a few favorites and decided to try my hand at eBay.  That’s when it all started.  I love a good deal and am still hitting those sales and auctions just about every weekend looking for amazing finds that my customers will enjoy!  I am also affiliated with a company in the Chicago area that holds on-site demolition auctions on homes facing the wrecking ball.  That is where most of my newer & antique lighting, hardware, bathroom fixtures and various other, reusable house parts are found.  So yes, if you’re looking for that high-end used toilet, 24K gold bathroom fitting, or an architecturally significant piece, I'm a great resource.  We would much rather see these goods in the hands of someone that will reuse them as opposed to ending up in a landfill.
