| Well, my two year anniversary as an ebay member is just around the corner and time to update my About Me page! Two years ago I created my ebay account with the full intention of clearing out the clutter in my home and maybe making a little "mad money" in the process. Well, that did not happen. I'm not sure if I got bored with it or just got too busy with other things, but my house is still piled up with boxes of junk that I need to get rid of. My original intention was to have a big yard sale, but every time I had a Saturday off they would be calling for rain or some other inclement weather. So, here I am sitting in my living room looking at boxes stacked upon boxes of stuff that I have determined I no longer need, which I am definitely sure of that fact now as if I have not needed this stuff in two years I probably will not ever need it again! |

| My goal this time is to get rid of the junk AND make build a "Christmas Fund" with the money I earn. Every year I end up spending too much for Christmas, causing me to fall behind on the bills. Then, we end up using our income tax refund (which gets smaller each year as our claimable dependants decrease) to play catch up with the bills. Then we still end up struggling through the rest of the year trying to stay on top of things, and now that the price of gas is so high (and still climbing) it doesn't look like things will get any better this year. So, maybe this time I will be more motivated to follow through with the plan. I really would like to take a family vacation, which we have not had one since the fall of 2003! |
