Sailor Figment, here. Thanks for checking out the 'About Me' page. My main interestes are Japanese Anime and Manga, 18th dynasty Egypt, reading, Star Trek, John Denver, and my garden. I work retail
(everyone should once), at a soup kitchen, and as an 18th century
historical site intpreter. The rest of the family includes my husband
Jorge Bandicoot and our fuzzy kitty Squeaker. I grew up in Hawaii,
which probably explains my love of bright colors and loud
patterns.
I've recently taken up knitting and found
that it is nice and calming. It's also nice to do when watching tv
because I hate to just sit and stare at the boobtube. And the cat
loves to play with my kneedles. As opposed to giving everyone I know
a scarf for Christmas, I will be donating my scarves to the soup
kitchen to help keep others warm in the winter. I will soon be
listing auctions from which all proceeds will be donated to the soup
kitchen. If you have some spare time, check your own area for a soup
kitchen or shelter and see what you can do to help. Remember, you
don't have to help big, start small. My soup kitchen collects grocery
bags and hangers for our guests.

I've always been a recycling earth lover and my interests have migrated towards hippie clothing and philosophy. "We do not inherit the Earth from our parents, we borrow it from our children." (from a Boeing commercial) Recycle, Reuse, Reduse. I believe everyone should be themselves no matter what opinion others express. You should hear what people said about my pants! (And ask me
if I cared :-) ---->
So about my autions... Most of the things I
auction off have been found in my closet or a drawer. I try very hard
to keep all of my stuff in top-notch condition in case there is ever
the possibility I would have to part with it. When my husband and I
got married we had 2 of lots of books, so that's where those come
from, as well as the local library book sale. And I'm trying to clean
out what I have collected in the last 25 years. I don't sell anything
I wouldn't buy myself. I want my customers to be happy with their
purchase. I will gladly try to resolve any problem you may have and I
do my best to respond to emails within 24hrs. All items are from a
smoke free home and some have been stored in cases before we got the
cat, so they are pet-free.
