I have been designing for 15 years and have my own line of patterns.  I specialize in appliqu, needle felting and country collectable doll patterns. At Crawford Designs we not only carry our original patterns but many of the notions and supplies that were used to complete them, such as prewashed woolfelts, the needle felting supplies, needles, and roving.

Crawford Designs is also a distributor for the famous "Authentic Pigment" dyed sweatshirts that are not available in regular stores, these are the best sweatshirts in the world.  They are dyed with the pigment of the dye and come pre shrunk. The colors are fabulous with a popular sueded look.

Along with the barbed needles and roving, I  have the patterns for needle felting.  We have just released the first book written in the United States on needle felting wearables (May 2006). This book is full of information on needle felting designs, tips, techniques, caring for the garment, color charts and dimensionals, that's right you can create teddy bears, snowmen, cats and more. There are 16 needle felting projects and 12 actual patterns to make the jackets, long duster coats, handbags with directions on how to line them.

Book II "Needle Felting" Something for everyone ! is releasing September 2006 and it's true there is something for everyone, sewers, non-sewers using premades, embellishing , and transcending into the craft world needle felting ornanments , easter eggs , faberge style eggs as well and so much more . Finally the famous Santa patterns these are so popular. I travel throughout the United States teaching sculpting classes. I travel with an oven so my students can finish their heads completely - the sculpting, baking, painting, staining, adding on the hair and eyelashes. During the last portion of the class I build a Santa teaching you how to attach the head and how to make your very own collectable, 24" heirloom Santa all in one afternoon. No need to pay out hundreds of dollars for a one of a kind Santa when you can make your own.
