Please note; I sell all of my merchandise at discounted prices, and do what I can to keep costs to the consumer down whenever possible. When reviewing your shipping charges, please consider; the cost of the box bubble wrap, peanuts and/or tissue to protect, tape, bubble envelopes, receipts, ink for printing, business cards, listing fees, final value and merchant fees.
To offset some of these costs to my customers, I give discounted prices, discounts on shipping, free gifts and more.
Please consider these things when rating your sellers on shipping charges. With the new feedback policies, your seller’s reputation depends on you and the rewards they receive for remaining in good standing on Ebay results in more savings for the customer.
Special Note; I have been a seller on Ebay for almost 11 years. During that time, I have received a total of 3 negative feedbacks. Two of the negatives were from customers that did not pay for their winning auctions and when I left a warranted negative comment for non-payment, they retaliated with negative feedback.
I am a very honest seller and do what ever I can to accomodate my customers. I would encourage customers to read through thousands of positive feedbacks from hundreds of repeat customers in order to see the truth and not rely on one negative comment to make your judgement.
