WHEN DID I BECOME A GRANDMA?

This forum is about letting you know a little about me. Well, as you already know I am a grandma but that wasn't my whole goal in life. I wanted to be an entrepreneur and start my own business. Consequently long before grandchildren I did start a business and I think I was pretty successful because after 18 years of owning and operating a full line pet store I retired. (I needed to be a full time grandma) anyway, after retiring I still have that "I want to sell something" feeling in my blood. So here I am on Ebay trying my hand at this auction thing. So far its seems to be working. The one thing that I have learned over the years is that the most important thing about selling is "customer service". I try my hardest to be friendly and courteous and as helpful as possible.

I started selling used clothing on Ebay but I was getting to the point that I wanted to do more. So I started looking for something that I could feel comfortable selling. Over the years I've tried a few different things here and there but it seemed I was just plodding along at a snails pace and just breaking even. Then in 2005 I was diagnosed with breast cancer (which slowed me down a bit) but it gave me a new insight about myself and what I could do. So now I hope I've found what I've been looking for in a product that will do well for me. This time I'm trying my hand at selling western cowboy boots and leather items (I'm a cowgirl at heart). So here I am doing what I love to do and I still get to stay home with the grandkids. Thank you for listening to me and I hope we can get together sometime.
