I quit my job in January because my boss-a spine doctor told me he couldn't accept anything but perfection. Sorry if this sounds conceited but everyone has always said I'm the most demanding person they've ever met (of course that is before they meet my brother). Below you'll see how I rate my used clothing, my policies on returns, and how I figure out shipping and handling. I go online every morning M-F between 8-9 am, and every evening M-F usually between 8-10 pm. I also check email at different times during the day. On weekends, sometimes I sleep late, but I try not to have my auctions end then. I usually am on the internet available for questions off and on during the day on the weekends. I live in the EST or EDT region depending on the time of year. Many times on Saturdays my hubby and I go out to eat lunch around 1 pm.

I ship most items out on Tuesday's and Friday's allowing at least 24 hours for the item to be washed and packaged, I do not ship on Saturdays because the post office is only open from 9-12.

All payments are to be received within 7 days, I accept Paypal, C2it, and Bidpay only. As of July 1 I am no longer accepting money orders due to the repeated promises of bidders who never sent them in. You will usually receive 3 notices: EOA from Ebay, my Ebay invoice, and a notice from Paypal. I do not send out three day reminders. Once NPB is filed I do not accept payment as the item is usually relisted following the filing of the NPB alert. You have three days to contact me per Ebay rules, if you have not contacted me within 3 days, I can only assume you do not want to complete the transaction, and will file the NPB on the 8th day following the end of auction. If you state you will pay by Paypal or other electronic means on a certain date and do not, I will file NPB on that day or the 8th day whichever comes first. Because of the influx of Non-paying bidders recently this policy may sound harsh, but most of my items are priced very close to cost and I do not receive a refund of fees charged by Ebay unless I follow through on the NPB and FVF policies.

Once NPB is filed, no payments will be accepted. There is no reason for you send payment. You will have broken the terms of sale, and per Ebay rules, I am no longer required to hold the item for you or to complete the transaction. I will file for return of FVF. You enter into a contract when you bid. If you choose to break the TOS, do not expect me to change them for you.

RETURNS:

I do not accept returns unless the item has been grossly mis-represented. I do not refund for buyer regret or if it doesn't fit. I list measurements in most of my auctions. As you can see my home is not pet free. There is a smoker in the house, but all previously worn items are washed the morning they are shipped. If they collect smoke smell in shipment, I will not be responsible. As repeatedly discussed on the CAB board mail carriers do smoke in their vehicles. All new with tags clothing are usually stored next door at my mother's non-smoking home, but may be store returns and have been exposed to smoke, perfume, or cats, dogs, etc. I recommend all clothing should be washed before wearing if you have any problems with allergies.

The best way to know if something is going to fit you when buying online is to measure a similar item in your closet and check the measurements of the garment listed against the measurement of your own garment. This may be a little work on your part but it will help you insure fit in both my auctions and others. I measure the chest right below the sleeves. For more fitted garments which I rarely sell I will list how I measured it in the auction. I measure the hips 6 inches below the waistband.

NWT-new with tags never worn

NWOT-new without tags never worn-usually will be mine or my mother's buyer regret.

LIKE NEW/EXCELLENT-Looks like it may have been worn 2-5 times and washed, very little if any signs of wear.

VERY GOOD-Item in good shape item may show a little wear.

GOOD-Item is in good shape, may have fading or slight pilling but otherwise is very wearable for many more times.

Clothing: I ship with a flat rate there is no negotiation after the auction ends. I ship first class when I can, I ship priority for up to 1 lb, and give the option for parcel post or priority for 1-2 lbs. Yes, I do charge a handling fee. It runs approximately 50 cents to $1.00 this covers items such as tape, ink, labels, padded mailers, zip locks, fashion mailers, delivery confirmation, etc. I usually round up. For example: I usually charge $4.25 for 1lb priority shipping. It costs $3.85, plus I print the d/c on my computer and usually the item is packaged in a ziplock or other type of wrapping. I am now using the shipping calculator for over 1 lb. This amount created by the shipping calculator includes my handling fee.

Books, Videos, CD's: up to two lbs. will be $2.00-$2.50

Other items are shipped based on weight and the amount of packaging at my descretion. I insist on insurance for more expensive items, fragile items, and electronics. This information will be included in the auction information.

I will not quibble over shipping and handling charges. I list shipping and handling in each item and that is not negotiable unless you win more than one auction within a two day period. I will combine shipping when possible. To qualify for combined shipping the entire purchase for the two days must be paid in one Paypal transaction. I will explain this in detail if you e-mail me.

FEEDBACK

I generally leave like feedback once the transaction is completed, by the bidder leaving feedback for me. I leave positive feedback for all purchases the day I receive the item. If you misrepresent the transaction, do not follow terms of sale (including not combining payments for combined shipping), or make derogatory comments, you can expect this to be listed in the feedback I leave for you. I follow Ebay's rules and expect you to do so as well. This includes contacting me should you have a problem before you leave feedback.
