Who am I?

Hi. My name is Scott Wilkins. I live in Austin, Texas. I work as a field service engineer for a major medical electronics company, repairing imaging and theraputic machines like MRI's, CAT scanners, and linear accelerators.

What's with all this clothing on ebay?

For the past 18 years I've been what could only be described as a "Collector of the finest in men's clothing". I've spent countless thousands of hours in pursuit of the best the world has to offer. Along the way I learned about tailoring, textiles, styles, and designers. In the past few years I've concentrated on vintage clothing. The end result is a vast collection of men's clothing, with some of the finest examples of every part of the man's wardrobe. Here are some examples from the ground up: Hand made John Lobb shoes, hand embroidered cotton socks from Sulka, hand made cotton boxer shorts from Carlo Palazzi, hand made slacks from Anderson & Sheppard, hand made shirt from Lanvin, hand made jacket from Caraceni, 7 fold tie from Robert Talbott, and to top things off, a beaver fedora from Flechet. My favorite maker has always been Oxxford Clothes. I have dozens of examples of their craft, from 50 year old tuxedo jackets, to cashmere pants, to superfine cotton shirts, to covert wool overcoats, to raw silk sports coats, etc. Now it's time for me to start selling off my collection. I was a buyer on ebay for 2 years before I started selling. I decided early on to be a "buyers" seller. All my auctions start at $5.00, with no reserve. All of my auctions have bright, clear pictures. All of my auctions have accurate descriptions which include size and condition. All of my auctions have a generous return policy. These are the things I looked for as a buyer. Thanks for learning about me. Keep checking back because I'm constantly adding new auctions.
