My original paintings and prints are in private and corporate collections in many parts of the US.Often I paint in Oil/Acrylic on canvas already stretched wood frames. I paints of memories of the beauty of North Carolina. I paint places in Italy and France.I paint African American folk art.outsider art, abstract, flowers, landscapes, and city-scapes. I enjoyment making floral paintings influenced by french country, shabby chic, and cottage chic styles. I sometimes use a wide range of media. I want to create a visual journey for others to experience how I see the world. I use Pen and Ink, Acrylics, Watercolors, Colored Pencils, Pastels, Collage...almost anything I can get my hands on. There is a great source of inspiration all around. I try to be detailed and careful.
I am a textile artist. I sew using beautiful linens, fabric and trims to make something new. I enjoy working with the wonderful new fabrics we have today. Five years ago I made wedding dresses and prom dresses. Now I love mixing the new fabrics with vintage finds. I love the idea of recycling. I create hand-crafted items such as hippie skirts,top,pants, dresses, purses of cloth,purses, quilts, window treatments, pillows, and more using quality workmanship with each creation. I sometimes combine my painting and sewing skills to create unique pieces.
Thanks for all the support. My son is still coping with being a quadriplegic but his spirits is better. The doctors never found the causes. I am doing better after the heart surgery but it caused me to have a stroke. My reaction to it all. My paralysis is a little less but God is Good because I am still here.
I also sell software bundles put together from open source files to meet a need and they are low cost. I donate %15 back into those programs.
I sort of have many skills to put to use.

I have a lot of boxes left by my daughter off to college. I will be recycling these new boxes using them to ship my CDs, making small green step changes over time
