We get alot of questions, what is the difference between 1" and 1.5" buttons?
1" badge/button/pin are about the size of a United states quarter, maybe a little smaller by a fraction, if you are not familiar with us coins, you can take out a ruler you will see the 1" (2.5cm) button is exactly that measurement wide, so you can sorta see the size this way. The button has a spring lock pin inside a hollow backing. The pin is easy to remove which means sometimes the top button part might fall off your back leaving a pin behind :( But this also means that it's very versatile, you can use 1" buttons to make other items and the size is cute and small enough to fit anywhere you want to put it! ^^
1.5" badge/button/pin are exactly 1.5" or 4 cm wide. They are larger so you can see the pict on the button easier and show it off better. The 1.5" button backing is the normal badge backing you might expect but not get from 1" buttons, the backing is slight inset with a safety pin like pin sticking out. This pin is permanent and will never fall off but with poor care you could damage or misshapen the backing.
All the buttons are made with professional materials, the parts are made of steal and will not bend without excessive forced added. For jewelry components we tend to use bright silver for our normal metal items when available :) If you have any questions please send us an send a message :)
