Having grown up in a
beach community in Southern California, the ocean has been an
important part of what inspires me. The tail of a mermaid is
like a canvas to me and I enjoy making use of a wide variety of
artistic techniques in decorating them.
My work has been
featured in several Doll Magazine as well as
"Artful Ways With Polymer Clay" by Dorothy McMillan and
"Creative Traditions: Techniques and Projects
Inspired by the Fine and Decorative Arts" by Judy Belcher.
Almost all of my work is
made available first on
Online Auction first, then on my website:
www.sculpturefromtheheart.com
If you are interested in the being among the first to know when I
make a new creation available please drop me an email or use "ask
seller a question" within an auction.
My Alter-ego:
Beauty must have its balance and so I find myself occasionally
expressing the darker side of my nature in the form of silly,
humorous, even irreverent pieces which I sell them under the ebay ID
MyImpishGrin
so as not to ruin either of my reputations!
In addition to
doll making which I do full-time, I teach sculpture as
well as a variety of polymer clay techniques.
