SEARIVER GREEN PLANET- RECYCLED JEANS- REBORN AS WEARABLE ART!!

We all love our denim jeans, jackets, skirts, vests. However they are indistructable. RECYCELING JEANS IS A GREAT WAY TO HELP KEEP OUR PLANET GREEN.., After we are long gone, I think denim will still be here waiting for another round. LOL**** Denim is our second skin. I have been decorating denim into wear since I was a teen*****My first creation was a tree I embroidered on the back of a jean jacket (I still have it)********** Recently I have returned to my stuidio with some well washed, broken in denim clothing for kids, and woman.*****
I am having a fantastic time with all my jewels, trims, ribbons, and fabrics, I have collected over the years. I am starting to list these creations in my store on ebay.**** I hope you enjoy a little bling and flair on our old standbys. **************I have tried all kinds of glues, and methods to attached these wonderful embellishments,and then washed them, I have to say the results of washing have been discouraging,machine washing ruins bling.********** So I am just going to say these items are not going to take to the washer. Jean jackets don't need to be laundered very often, and these must be dry cleaned, or spot cleaned.*********The jeans do pretty well if they are turned inside out, then washed in the washer, but a few jewels always seem to pop off, they can be reattached very easily with a good glue. The jean skirts can be treated the same way,and I have used washable glue, and done my best to really secure these embellishments.***** So I am trying to say, like your fine dresses, these items do very poorly in the washer. They are fun and fabulious,unique, and fun.*** but I reccomend dry cleaning or spot cleaning.** There is a product called DRYEL, that can be used in the dryer,bit again ,heat is hard on my creations. My pieces are one of a kind,reasonable, priced,and they are unique originals.... So please forgive me for not being able to create Art that can be treated like regular denim..... DARN!....
