Marie Casey, owner of Casey’s Collectibles, has worked in the retail trade for 30 years.
Clocks were at the center of the Casey family for decades. Marie’s father, Richard Casey started collecting in 1968 and at one time had 1,600 timepieces in the family home. In 1973 the family opened a clock factory, Alta Vista Clock Company, where reproduced 19th century German clocks were made. The Alta Vista Clock Company sold clocks to retailers throughout the United States, including the German Pavilion in the Epcot Center at Disney Land in Florida.
After moving to Washington State in the late 1980s, Richard Casey opened The Clock Repair Center. In 2000, his daughter Marie turned The Repair Center into one of Seattle’s largest clock stores and added hundreds of clocks and gift items to shift the focus from repair to retail sales. The name of the store was changed to The Seattle Clock Company.
In the fall of 2008, after 21 years, the family business closed. Marie now focuses all her attention on the online Ebay store – Casey’s Collectibles.
The Casey’s are dedicated to providing outstanding customer service and hope to build their Ebay business by offering interesting collectible items and stress free online transactions.
