Hola! I am an avid collector of Mexican influenced "stuff". The majority of my jewelry collection is from the Mexican culture. The decor in my Southern California home has been restyled to reflect south of the border. The bright colors and artistic creativity of the Hispanic people has always been of interest to me. Working side by side with this population has had a strong influence in my life. I am a retired Director of a Community Resource Center that assisted Hispanic children and their families. I am also an elected official for the Menifee Union School District School Board.
I have found some fabulous vintage things on ebay! I do altered art jewelry and signature jeans that are a combination of altered art pieces and fabric. When shopping on ebay you are shopping the world and it is so interesting and exciting to find things that you normally would not be able to shop for.
My hobbies are collecting spiritual artifacts, gardening, design, hand sewing, remodeling my 60 year old home, spending time with my dog Chaquito and my birds.
My home is an ecclectic collection of things from the past - DejaVu is the word that comes to mind because everything in my home had a life before. In other words I am a junque queen and love every moment of it.
