Hello Friend,
Even in the modern world of high-tech instant communication with iPhones,
blackberries, and other do-hickies, people often find handing over that
hard-earned cash to a complete, invisible stranger can be a daunting and
frightening prospect. In an attempt to make your ebay experience a little
easier, I’d like to take a few moments and tell you a bit about myself.
Hopefully, this will earn a bit of your trust and make you feel a bit more
comfortable if you choose to bid on or purchase any of my listing.
I realize that it is sometimes easier for you, as a consumer, to shop at
one of those big-box stores with the big yellow smiling face or the big
red and white circles. But, I do not believe that those stores, or the
mega-corporations that own them, are as dedicated to their customers as I
am. Most corporations tend to put profits before people. On the other
hand, I will always put my customers before profits. I will always be
honest and will not take advantage of you just to make a buck. This may
not be the best business model for achieving financial success but it does
help me sleep at night.
Most of my professional career has been spent in customer service and
customer/client relations. I know what is necessary to make
customers/clients feel good about shopping with, and more importantly stay
with, a business. Before moving to New Mexico I was a customer service
supervisor and I was also the manager of a traditional street-side retail
business. I have outstanding customer service skills and will always go
the extra mile to keep my customers happy and 100% satisfied!

A Little About My Personal Life |
|
|
I live in Albuquerque,
New Mexico with my husband and two sons. We move to New Mexico from
Minnesota about six years ago. I (but mostly my husband) was getting a bit
tired of the long, cold winters. However, because I had lived in the
Midwest my entire life, I first found Albuquerque to be quite a shock--not
only climate wise, but culturally as well.
Both of our sons are disabled. Our oldest son was born with mild cerebral
palsy. Cerebral palsy is a condition that primarily affects large and
small motor skills. He is, however, sharp as a tack and is currently
attending a local college working toward a BA in teaching. When he was
just 14 years old, our youngest son suffered a severe brain injury while
playing in a youth hockey game. We lived in Minnesota at the time. He
hangs out with me at home and helps me with my ebay business. Although, I
have to tell you he’d definitely prefer it if I sold sports related items
instead of bras, cosmetics, and baby clothes! But he does put together
shipping boxes for me, among other things, and has been very helpful.
2008 was a pretty bad year for us. In May 2008, my husband had a minor
stroke. Two weeks later, I was involved in a serious car accident. Two
months later, our youngest son was hospitalized for about 30 days because
of a brain infection. Consequently, I lost my job and nearly half of our
income. But with a little hard work and lots of help from friends and
family we made it through that difficult year. During the last year we
have been selling various items on ebay to raise money for our family.
Many of the items we sold were donated to us by friends and we very much
appreciated their kindness and generosity. I enjoyed the ebay experience
so much that I decided to start my own online business. This time around
though, we invested some of our savings to make this dream happen.

About The Items I Sell |
|
|
Everything I sell is 100% authentic. I do not sell knock-offs or “designer
inspired” merchandise. Most of the items I sell have hangtags attached to
the item or garment. If an item does not have its associated hangtag I
will clearly disclose that information in the items description.
Most (but not all) of the cosmetics I sell are products sold in the direct
marketing arena (Arbonne, Mary Kay, etc.). I have purchased these products
directly from current consultants needing to reduce their inventory or
consultants that are getting out of their respective business. Many of my
Victoria’s Secret items come directly from Victoria’s Secret, some come
from a major VS liquidator/supplier, and some come from retailers going
out of business. The other name-brand items as come from a very reputable
supplier that works directly with major department stores handling their
overstocks, etc. Most Coach items come directly from Coach. All of the
Native American items are handmade by local Native American artists who
live on area Pueblos or Reservations. I am very fortunate to be able to
purchase these items directly from the artist.
Thanks for visiting my About Me page. I hope that I have eased any
concerns you might have. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have
any questions or additional concerns. I look forward to serving you in the
future.
