Welcome to my about me page. My name is Seree'Jo Schmidt and I live in a small town in Michigan called Branch. We bought a small log cabin with 10 acres in 2000. I have been selling and buying on ebay for almost 9 years. I was married on August 23,2003 to my husband Jeremy Schmidt, whom I have been with for over 11 years, we had our first child Jesse on July 3, 2004, and our 2nd child Jonah on February 13, 2007. Both boys born day before a holiday. Our 2nd boy was born with a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. For those of you who may not know what that is (we didn't until recently, now we seem to be experts on the topic) when a baby is developing there is a hole in the diaphram that closes, in our little guy it didn't close and his stomache snuck up into his chest cavity, the heart and lungs are the only organs that are suppose to be above the diaphram, so as you can imagine it was crowded up there. Jonah spent 109 days in the NICU in Grand Rapids hospital. 3 different doctors told us to take him off the ventilator and let him die peacefully. Good thing we didn't listen, he is now 18 months and doing great. He had to have a feeding tube places in his belly and recently had to have surgery to reconstruct his skull, but other than that his lungs are great (still needs breathing treatments) and no oxygen. We still have at least 2 more surgeries coming up,he needs his testicles brought down and his cleft pallet fixed.

I no longer make soap, because of all the vapors that could be a problem for Jonahs fragile lungs. I have swithched to making hair stuff and I still make polymer clay things. I make bows, clippies, sculpted clippies, woven headbands, pony o's and crocheted beanies, along with polymer clay beads, necklaces, earrings, magnets etc. if you are looking for something special, please email me.
