WELCOME TO NORTHEASTERN CONNECTICUT!


When traveling around the country, I enjoy searching for treasures at flea markets and tag sales.  I particularly look for older handwork-related items (especially crochet hooks, sewing emeries, rug hooks, thimbles, and darning implements), as well as genuine Victorian hatpins (the long, dagger type) to add to my own long-time collections . . . .  finding things that I never knew I needed . . . .

After being laid off several years ago, I decided enough was enough and began weeding through my things and selling them on eBay.  Ostensibly, this was to downsize in preparation for retirement.  I still do sell items from my own collections; however, the bug has bitten, and I now have more in the house than when I started as a Seller!

Thanks to all of you, especially those "pen pals," with whom I chat periodically.  Through eBay I've met some wonderful, interesting people from all over the world!  On a personal note, I enjoy being a Grammy, cooking, knitting, sewing, walking, gardening, singing, and playing piano and flute.
