I began Sew Superior in 1994 in the local Los Angeles craft fair circuit making Quillows (Quilt-in-a-pillows), Christmas Tree Skirts, Appliqu Shirts and other fabric related items.  In 2002 I tried selling my leftover, odd-sized pieces of fleece on ebay, finding a great little niche.  I have since given up craft fairs due to the success of my website and have never looked back.  It was a very natural and pleasant transition to selling yard goods as I already had a good starting base with my leftover craft fair stock fabric which has now evolved into Sew Superior Fabrics.

I really enjoy the online experience of selling fabrics across the United States and around the world.  I have met some of the nicest people in all corners of the globe and look forward to continue doing so. 

I have an AS (Associates in Science) in Fashion Technology degree from the University of Hawaii and studied fabric design, makeup and content, flammability, washability, etc. In addition to doing craft fairs, I also focused on making wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, prom dresses, casual clothing, men suits and an amazing number of  Hawaiian shirts for a good friend - Ninja Bob.
