It seems like everyone always wants to see more backgrounds from where our pictures are taken. These pictures are taken in our home and gardens. Thanks for all your compliments.
How did I start collecting architectural, or windows, or wedding cakes toppers, or anything else that I have? I had no plan! I just buy what I LOVE, and it starts from there. I will periodically post pictures of our ever changing decor to share with you. And, tell you exactly how I got started with that area of our home.

This is a picture of one of my favorite things to collect~Vintage baskets with barbola roses and flowers.
I was thrilled to find this basket. It had a photograph with it of the basket filled with roses and on the back of the photo it says, "A basket of flowers from Papa's Inauguration~1918".
As you can see, our home is quite full, and I love the thrill of the hunt for more treasures, so I guess you'll be finding lots of awesome items, since I can't keep it all.
I'll have to share more pictures soon from our family room, which is my husbands favorite room in our home.
