*Bit of Trivia
Recently on Oprah, she revealed at the 2007 Oscar Award Ceremony, Swarovski Crystal Company designed the stage's 34-foot custom curtain, which is made from 50,000 crystals and is worth more than $1 million! IT WAS AWESOME!
 
I want to share with you how I started out in my business. It started 4 years ago when I fell HEAD OVER HEELS in love with Swarovski Crystals! I LOVE, LOVE LOVE THEM!!
 
My sister had a pair of the blinged out flip flops, so I also bought a pair of generic high flip flops from a local girl in Palm Beach. Back then even the generic ones sold for over $100.00. I bought a pair and loved them so much! I got so many compliments when I wore them. I wore them with dressy clothes to shorts and jeans.
 
After having them only a few months and not getting enough use out of them yet, one day I put them on and the strap snapped off of one. There I sat with a pair of the coolest shoes I have ever had with all these gorgeous crystals on them and I couldn't wear them! (BUYER BEWARE WHEN YOU BUY GENERIC FLIP FLOPS INSTEAD OF A NAME BRAND, - this applies to flip flops with Swarovski Crystals only - one clue the flip flops won't have any writing on them, as in brand name, when they are generic).
 
So, I decided to start making them myself. I did my research and my first pair was an experiment. I took off all those crystals from the broken generic flip flops and put them on a quality pair. They turned out actually pretty good. Then I started purchasing the crystals and high quality flip flops like Havaianas, The Hut, Colin Stuart from Victoria's Secret. (From my experience, I only use quality Flip Flops and Kitten heels to put my beloved SWAROVSKI CRYSTALS on.) So the next pair I bedazzled looked even better and so on.
 
Finally, after several pairs I have perfected them and the process. I discovered a secret to the problem with the straps breaking and I perfected a special technique so that the crystals won't fall off (that was another problem with the ones I originally bought). I have checked around and I think mine look just as good as the orignal Lady Lanell's which retail for $145.00, Lady Lanell is the first one who started this BLINGED OUT FLIP FLOP FRENZY http://www.ladylanells.com/.  She uses The Hut flip flop (aka Yummyz) only she buys in bulk and puts her logo put on it).
 
*Keep in mind when purchasing your special shoes, I have put a ton of love in each pair and it takes me 3-5 hours to complete a pair.
 
*FYI The Hut Flip Flop is a very high quality "high" (1.5 ") flip flop. They are extremely comfortable and have lots of give to them (not hard as some other brands or generics). They feel better (like butter) to me than Havaianas do. And I like them for the highness of them. Even though I am tall I like the additional inch and a half  to two inches they give me. The higher ones give you a more sleek & slender look to your body! Who doesn't want that!
 
Since then, I have gone Swarovski CRAZY! There is nothing around like them. I started going to the Swarovski Store in the mall and bought many pairs of earrings, spending a lot of money.... until.... you got it, I learned to make them myself. And that's how it began. I keep thinking up different things to do with Swarovski!
 
So, keep me in mind if you like bling, because I most definitely have the thing! And remember, if you have a special order in mind please do not hesitate to email me, I LOVE SPECIAL ORDERS!
