Who & Where We Are
Since 1980, we were THE antique, vintage, and collectibles shop in the North Rockland, NY area, and home of Marti's cut - and - pierced lampshades. We have closed the shop and are now on-line only. We're still near Rt. 9W about 30 miles north of NY City. Frank is a string band musician and Marti still teaches the lampshade craft. She's also a board member of the Historical Society of Early American Decoration. You can check out some of our current interests by clicking the links below. Return Policy All items are shipped on 48 hour approval, unless noted in the listing.* You can return any item for a full refund, less the Ebay fees.
You pay the shipping both ways. Please contact us by phone or email before returning any item. (*Non-returnable items will be marked "AS IS.")
Shipping You can check postal rates to your area on the ebay calculator. We charge actual shipping plus $0.75 to $2.00 for handling costs and Delivery Confirmation (tracking). International customers: we use Priority Mail International only, because it is the lowest rate for which tracking is available. All customers should write for rates before bidding if the eBay calculator is not working.
Articles will be shipped via US Postal Service (ONLY) - first class if qualified, or parcel post or priority mail, at the buyer's option. Books will be sent special book rate (Media Mail) or priority.
Priority costs more money; parcel post takes more time. Media mail is the cheapest; it can also be extremely slow!
Tracking We now include Delivery Confirmation (tracking) with all eligible items. (No tracking is available on packages less than 3/4 inch thick, such as envelopes.)
Payment Since eBay has changed its rules, we can offer PayPal only. Sorry, we no longer accept credit card payments except through Paypal.
Non - U.S. customers: Make sure you check shipping rates before bidding. You may also be liable for customs/import duties. The following special limitations apply to international sales:
All international sales are As Is, no returns.
Payment must be in US Dollars. Paypal is required.
Shipping will be by Priority Mail International only.
Please do not ask us to lie on the customs form. We will list your package as Merchandise, with a value equal to your winning bid. If this is not acceptable, please do not bid on our items. Sorry to have to mention this, but believe it or not, it comes up often.
Shipping Dates Our usual days off are Wednesday and Thursday. Orders received Friday - Monday will be shipped the same or next business day. Orders received Tuesday - Thursday will be shipped by Saturday.
