I began collecting Batman comics and memorabilia back when i was just 5 years old. My Uncle had given me a set of Batman and Robin Megos along with an old issue of Batman comics. I was instantly attracted to the darker imagery of the 70's detective styled stories that were being done in the comics at the time, and that has always been my favorite version of the character. It wasnt until i was a bit older and started getting comics on a regular basis that i really learned who the Batman character was and started to learn his history. When I was 16 the 1989 Burton movie hit theatres and i was completely swept up in Batmania. Ever since then, i never looked back. The 89 movie had such an impact on me both visualy and creativly that it remains my favorite movie version of the Dark Knight to this day.
Being a child of the 80's, I was into all the big toy licenses and cartoons. I have rekindled my collecting of the 3 3/4" G.I. Joe figures with the help of the new 25th Anniversary line of figures. I have also started collecting select characters from the WWE Wrestling lines.
