I spent 5 years living in Shanghai China where I was working as an electronic engineer for an american company. I spent my spare time on weekends and holidays pursuing my long time hobby of collecting minerals. I am married to a beautiful Chinese lady who has helped immensely with this passion. With her help I ended up making contacts with miners and setting up a partnership with a chinese man who takes care of business for me in China. When I returned from China I was laid off from my job (20 months ago) so I have been importing and selling these minerals mostly wholesale accross the country in order to feed the family.  Most of my wholesale dealers want the small to midrange size pieces so I have slowly accumulated a pretty large group of either much larger or very unique pieces that I haven't sold.  A couple of months ago I started following the listing for Chinese minerals on ebay  and have come to realize that I have some really nice specimens that I sell that are much nicer than many of the pieces I see sold here for high prices.  So I have decided to start out with some of my small cabinet size specimens and work up in size as I gain experience in selling on Ebay.
