I am a full time fossil hunter and a full time college student in Gainesville, Fl. I use my school's computers and scanners to list my auctions untill I can afford to have my own setup to do so. I have over 30 different collection sites in Gainesville and over a hundred sites up the east coast, though I do not travel much out of my area. It seems to be the same all up and down the east cost, Quality fossils are becoming harder and harder to find. Ten years ago the sites every where produced so much more than they do now but this is just a fact of life. Somedays I have lots of great finds and other months my finds are just sad. I come across Many fossil species of shark ( both large and small), barracuda, whale, dolphin, porpoise, bison, llama, camel, horse, mammoth, mastodon, gomphotherium, dugong, manatee, tapir, alligator, crocodile, turtle, tortoise, and on rare occasion Rhino, wolf, giant sloth and many species of large cat (saber cat, jaguar, american lion, and panther) the frustrating part is that only about 2% of all my finds are ebay worthy and many can not be identifyed easily due to heavy damage. Often my finds need no cleaning and On rare occasions I sell fossils I have done repairs to. In cases of repair the auction will state this fact. I specialize in fossil shark teeth but I can make buy it now auctions on fossils that are requested if you agree to buy them or possabily direct you to a seller that may have it.
I will combine multiple won auctions together in shipping. This means that you pay less and I have to mail less packages. I usualy ship within 48 hours but every now and then I run late. In these cases I normaly contact you so you know what is going on. REMEMBER ONCE MAILED I HAVE FORFILLED MY PART OF OUR CONTRACT UNLESS I IMPROPERLY DESCRIBED AND ITEM. INSURANCE IS RECOMENDED ON ALL PACKAGES! Foreign shipping often requires airmail if insured and will cost more. In this case I will have to get a quote from the post office and let you know the cost.
