The TWO reasons I sell on EBAY!

Welcome to my "About Me" page, thanks for stopping in!!
I started EBAY in August of 2001. I have met so many really great people, and unfortunately, a few not so great ones in the process!! I LOVE EBAY!!!
It is such a wonderful arena to not only sell your items, but to buy things that you never thought you would be able to find. I hosted a garage sale one summer. 2 friends of mine and I sat in the 95 degree sun for 8 hours. Our minds (and our bodies) were fried. Then, I decided to place a few leftover items on EBAY, and in my air conditioned bedroom, I sold more than in the 8 hours of sweltering sun!! That is when I made my decision. |

And now, for a little about my personal life!!
I am the proud mother of two beautiful girls, ages 9 and 11. They have accumulated so many things since their birth, the only way we can continue to have room in our home, is for them to allow me to sell some of their things and buy new things. The big joke in our house is when I ask them to clean their rooms, I ALWAYS hear one of them whispering, "You better do it, or it will wind up on EBAY". One day, my 9 year old (who was then 4) got me really angry. She looked at me with her big beautiful eyes tearing up, and said, "Mommy, please don't sell me on EBAY"
My husband is a really wonderful man. He puts up with our bedroom in a constant state of chaos. All of my EBAY auctions, and packages to be shipped are in an assembly line against the length of our wall. I am fairly sure that he wants to learn how to sell, and it is only a matter of time before he tries to sell ME!!!! | |
