Thank you so much for visiting, and welcome!  Here I will address some of the most frequently asked questions regarding my auctions.  I hope you'll find this information useful and informative.  Of course, you are always welcome to email me with any questions.  Thanks again for stopping by!

Will this fit me?

Due to the wide range of body sizes, and how you personally prefer your clothes to fit, we cannot accurately predict how individual garments will fit any one person.  I recommend that you go by the measurements.  The best thing to do is measure a similar item that you own, that fits you well.  Measure the garment lying flat, not while wearing, and then compare your results to the measurements on the auction page.  This is the best way to ensure a proper fit.  You may also consult the sizing chart on the auction page; however the chart should be taken as a general guideline only.  The measurements should be the most important information you consider - not the sizing chart.

For your convenience, I provide measurements for most of the clothing that I sell. Doing this gives you, the customer, the information you need to make a well-informed decision.  My best suggestion is that you take a similar article of clothing that fits you well, measure it while it is laying flat on a smooth, firm surface, and then compare that item's measurements to those in the listing.

Once you've taken a few moments to measure a similar item that fits you well, why not jot those measurements down, along with what item they relate to (jeans, tops, coats) and keep them handy?  It is a wonderful time-saver.  Having that information at your fingertips will assist you greatly while shopping on ebay!  I've used this method myself to purchase clothing for my own use, and it's worked wonderfully for me.  Once you get that info, it's tremendously easy to shop at Shellital, as all our clothing is consistently and accurately measured, by the standards as outlined above.  A quick glance and you'll know if that item is right for you.  It only takes a few minutes, and voila! 

I notice you also have exact measurements on the auction page.  How should I use that information?

The best way to determine fit is through the posted measurements. 

For your convenience, I provide measurements for most of the clothing that I sell. Doing this gives you, the customer, the information you need to make a well-informed decision.  My best suggestion is that you take a similar article of clothing that fits you well, measure it while it is laying flat on a smooth, firm surface, and then compare that item's measurements to those in the listing. Unless stated otherwise, my measurements are taken as follows:

Chest/bust: Straight across the back of the garment from armpit to armpit. That result is then doubled to get the full circumference.

Waist and Hip: straight across x 2, unless otherwise noted.

Shirt Length: From the top of the shoulder to front hem, unless otherwise noted.

Can I Buy It Now?

Due to limited availability, all items are bid-only unless otherwise noted on the auction by the presence of a “Buy It Now” price. If there is no Buy It Now (BIN) price then the auction is bid-only. I hope you will consider doing so! If time is a consideration, auctions are only 7 days at most, and we ship fast upon payment.

I just won an item.  I want to combine items that end on another day.  Should I pay you now or wait?

Please do NOT pay until your order is complete.  Once you pay, orders cannot be combined.  If you've received an invoice and you're not done shopping, simply disregard the invoice.  You will be re-invoiced with the combined shipping rate upon additional items won or purchased.  Please complete your order within 7 days of the first item won.  After 7 days, an Unpaid Item Notice may be issued.  We respectfully ask that you confine your order to the 7 day limit.   

We do not have a retail location at the present time.  All items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail unless otherwise noted on the auctions.

Can I get this shipped overnight?

Yes.  We do offer USPS Express mail, however it is prohibitively expensive.  Rates start at $22.80. Contact me through the item page for an exact quote.

I can't find the tracking number you sent me.  How can I find it?

Go to My Ebay.  Go to Items Won. Click on the auction page.  Once you're on the auction page, click on View Payment Details OR View Shipping Status.  If the item has shipped via USPS Priority Mail, there will be a clickable link on that page, and you can track your package from there.  Tracking numbers will not appear for military mail or internationally shipped items.  Please email me if you cannot locate your tracking number via the method outlined above.  If you successfully found the link and clicked through, but the tracking number does not actually TRACK, please do not be concerned, as the USPS website is notoriously slow to update.  As always, feel free to email me with your shipping concerns. 

Would you please send me an invoice for the combined shipping amount?

Invoices are typically very promptly sent at auction close.  Normal domestic combination rates are as follows: $6.95 plus $2.50 per additional item.  (Check the auction to be sure, because rates DO vary, especially for makeup, boots, and lip glosses, etc.)  However, usually clothing is $6.95 plus 2.50 per additional clothing item.  So, for two items, shipping would be $6.95 plus $2.50 = $9.45.  For three items, that would be $6.95 plus $2.50 plus $2.50 = $11.95.  So if you take a look at the auction and do the math you'll see you probably already have a correct invoice.    International items vary by country, weight, and amount - it's best to ask rates prior to bidding.  NOTE ON COMBINED FIRST CLASS: When combining items for first class shipment, IF the entire shipment weighs more than 13 ounces, your invoice will automatically be charged the Priority Rate.  We cannot combine heavier items for first class shipment. 

Due to the closeout nature of our items, we do not generally accept returns.  Please email me if there is a problem with your order.  In the rare event that we accept an item for return, the following procedure must be followed. Items must be sent within 7 days.  Items must be with all original packing materials.  Please include your item number.  In some cases, a 20% restocking fee may be assessed.  Shipping and handling are not refundable.  The return postage is the customer's responsibility.  Always email me first if you wish to return an item.

Can I get this shipped to another address? It's a gift.

Yes, however, for security reason, we can only ship to the address that is associated with the payment.  You MUST add a gift or secondary address in your PP account.  So before you pay, go to PP, Profile, Address and it will let you add another address.  Just be sure to choose THAT address when making payment. The item will ship to the address on the payment, so be sure to indicate the correct address when you pay.  This will provide us with the correct info we need to process the order swiftly and efficiently, and also give you greater protection under PayPal's buyer policy - not to mention peace of mind. 

Shipping Policies

We at Shellital have always taken shipping with the greatest of seriousness.  We believe that once a customer has paid, we have nothing better to do than ship that item.  Thus, all items are shipped ASAP.  We ship all items within 24 hours, and most items we ship same day.  We also ship on Saturdays.  We take great pride in our shipping operation and LOVE to astonish and delight our customers with the fastest shipping on ebay - or the internet!  I firmly believe that we owe our clients the fastest shipping possible, and this has always been, and will always remain what distinguishes us from many ebay sellers.  You pay - we ship - that's it!  Additionally, we believe in notifying you when and how your item has been shipped, so you will always receive a notification of shipment.  Domestic buyers will always receive a tracking number, as well.  This policy was set on Day One of my selling career.  As a buyer on ebay, I well know the frustration of having to chase your items down.  We at Shellital will never put you through this inconvenience.  Never any worry...never any waiting.  Our customers love it...check my feedback for proof!  We take great pride in what I feel is the best shipping operation on ebay, and you will feel confident and pleased when buying with us.
