I thought you might want to know a bit about me since you are buying yarn from me.

I have been knitting my entire life. My Mom is an avid knitter and I first learned to finger knit at about age 2 then progressed to needles. I was knitting scarves at 5, then doll clothes. The first real item I knit was a sweater for my boyfriend, ( now husband) when I was 14. It had one sleeve longer than the other but he loved it and wore it anyways.

My love of yarn is genetic. My Mom has the biggest yarn stash I have ever seen. I am second to her. So I completely understand the need to have that ball of yarn just because you love the colour and you will knit it up someday.

I love knitting socks and hats. They are fun. Last year my Mom and I designed 2 sweaters. The Eagle and the Orca sweaters. They are really big sellers here. We live on Quadra Island a small Island off the East of Vancouver Island. Every Saturday all summer we have a Market and I sell yarn, socks, sweaters etc at this. I have actually met a few people who have bought from Fun Knits on eBay and that was really cool.

I love selling yarn on eBay. I love packaging it up and sending it to you. I really enjoy seeing what other people like and I would love to see picture of what you make.
